Rules as expressions, not branches

Instead of a ladder of if-statements, strength rules are expressed as notation expressions evaluated against the live input, which makes the scoring logic declarative and cheap enough to run on every keystroke.

It is a compact algorithmic project: parsing, evaluation order and security-oriented thinking in one small package.

What makes it technically interesting

  • Strength rules expressed and evaluated as notation expressions rather than chained if-statements
  • Scores re-evaluated live while typing, cheap enough to run on every keystroke
  • A deliberate exercise in parsing and evaluation order, not presented as an industry-standard security product
